What medical school never taught you

South African Doctors (SAdocs) was created by doctors for doctors

We aim to help doctors navigate their careers by providing necessary information about the various stages of being a doctor.

Our goal is to assist doctors across South Africa in navigating their medical endeavours. We do this by providing need-to-know information and serving as an interface platform between doctors and companies, organisations, agencies, or individuals seeking to recruit or offer services to doctors.

Core services include the provision of practical information relating to the different stages of a doctor’s career: internship, community service, and independent practice.  For those entering internship and community service we provide practical tips, useful resources, and peer-reviews of various hospitals and facilities. For those entering independent practice, we are working to provide information and an interface platform regarding the different career options available. Furthermore, we hope to shed some light on the various systems within the public and private healthcare sectors in order to help doctors navigate them successfully. This includes information on furthering education, short courses, various medical associations, etc.

And because we are more than our profession, SAdocs also works to provide unbiased, easy to understand, and practical information regarding financial management. We want doctors to be successful both within and beyond their medical career.

We dream to be the one-stop shop for the busy doctor seeking information and guidance.
