About Us

About Us

South African Doctors (SAdocs) is a website created by doctors for doctors. We aim to help doctors navigate the healthcare system by providing information about the various stages of being a doctor.

We hope to do this by being a reliable ‘one-stop-shop‘ online platform where doctors can find everything they need to successfully navigate their careers and life. From facility reviews for internship and community service to information on the different career options for independent practitioners, SAdocs aims to be a source of practical, user-friendly information.

Need advice with managing more than your patients? We also work to give practical, reliable, and easily understandable information to help doctors thrive financially. From one doctor to another, let us continue to support the doctors of South Africa.

We are still in the early stages, so we appreciate your patience and welcome any suggestions. Feel free to contact us with your questions or suggestions.

Founder

Dr Chloe Redelinghuys graduated from WITS university in 2014. During her internship and community service she was exposed to rural, district, regional, and tertiary level hospitals.

Since registering as an independent practitioner, she has alternated between working the public and private sector in different capacities.

Knowing first-hand how daunting it can be for a young doctor to navigate their medical career, especially bridging the gap between the public and private healthcare sectors, she became the founder of SAdocs.

Drawing from experience, research, and consulting relevant professionals for the information required, SAdocs created this website with the aim of helping other doctors to successfully navigate their medical careers and lives.
