None in hospital and very poor support from referral centres
No supervision. No senior doctors, no consultant input at all. Referral centre very hesitant to accept patients.
Clinical Exposure:
Lack of investigations (no functional xrays, no blood gas machine, blood results taking at least 16 hours to come out) often results in under investigation.

Social Scene:
Very small town with no bars or anything to do at all. Hospital severely understaffed with very poor relationships between staff

If I had to repeat commserv and be placed there again I would rather decline the post as the only thing you learn is how to continue living despite being isolated and working at a very poorly functioning hospital and district.
