• There is no surgical/theatre facilities. Exposure is limited to rural medicine in the form of trauma, maternity(with referral for CS) and family medicine/OPD’s/peripheral clinics.

Social Scene:

• The town is very small. There are some game reserves nearby. The closet Woolworths is about 3 hours away. It’s a good place if you want to save money.

Additional Comments:

• If you are looking for a break after internship calls are from home and you travel in if needed. The nursing staff is really welcoming and contribute a lot. There are 2 posts so a social compacted couple who enjoys nature would be well suited.
