• Good academic support.

Supervision:

• “Always able to ask for help, knowledgeable seniors always available to be asked.
  On site calls are done by COSMOs only but there is always a 2nd & 3rd on call from home if you need assistance.
  Also George Hospital is the referral hospital and very helpful with more complex/specialist cases”
• You do calls alone but there’s always a senior on call if you need help

Clinical Exposure:

• Lots of various cases, a lot of old patients.

Departments worked in:

• Internal Medicine, Surgery, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Anaesthetics, Psychiatry, Emergency Department, OPD’s – It’s a district hospital * family medicine run so you do all the “departments”.
• Emergency Department – Family med run so you do a bit of everything but can only be accredited for Dipec.

Social Scene:

• Very outdoorsy but community is old.
