• Not much of it really offered on site. Once a week physician rounds. Now there are interns around so we do educational topics once a week.

Supervision:

• Not much of it really available. You teach yourself and you take the initiative yourself to seek for help from kalafong hospital.

Clinical Exposure:

• You will get to see a lot of cases and do much if you are willing. But the supervision is low.

• Internal Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Anaesthetics, Psychiatry, ARV clinic, Emergency Department, OPD’s – All dependent on your willingness to learn and the availability of other colleagues .

Social Scene:

• It’s what you make of it plus it’s in the city and traveling distance to most gauteng hubs.

• Good place to be for someone who wants to be a generalist or isn’t sure what they want to do as yet.
