This is a one-day immersive course aimed at equipping participants with knowledge and hands-on skills to start using Ultrasound in their daily practice. This course is aimed at the emergency medicine provider. This course is taught through AIEM by specialists in Emergency Medicine (sourced through ER Consulting and ER Specialist Inc.).

Description
This course is a taster course to get you fired up and ready to start practising some of the skills of ultrasound in patient assessment and management in the ED and Emergency Medical spaces.
Audience
Advanced providers who are able to use Ultrasound within their scope of practice.
Course content:
• FAST & eFAST assessments
• Basic Echocardiogram
• Ultrasound-guided IV access
• DVT recognition
• Other large vessel recognition
Certification
On successful completion of the course participants will receive a CPD certificate.
Student Materials Pre-course preparation occurs online through the AIEM website, this is not tested.
